This detailed, one of a kind piece of artwork is a 8 x 10 inch scratchboard featuring two barn owls. I have entitled the pieces "Glad you're home".

A scratchboard consists of three layers -- hardboard, white clay and black ink. The art is created by etching through the black ink into the white clay layer to render the image shown. The colors you see have been added to the board using india ink and then re-scratched to create texture. This image represents hours and hours worth of work -- a true labor of love!

This piece may be framed to hang in your home or office. Usually scratchboards are framed without glass, to allow the etched texture to be seen and appreciated.
